 1.⁠ ⁠Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and all contracts for goods and services provided by SERV Contracts Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website or our services.

 3.⁠ ⁠Scope of Services

SERV Contracts Ltd provides design, build, installation, maintenance, repair and fabrication of commercial building systems, including but not limited to steel fabrication, roller shutters, gates and security doors, mechanical and electrical systems, building management systems, and facility and property maintenance.

Services are offered to both domestic and commercial clients, including emergency call-outs where required.

 4.⁠ ⁠Quotations

All quotations are normally provided in writing and remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

Quotations involving significant quantities of raw materials such as steel may be subject to shorter validity periods due to market fluctuations in supply costs.

Acceptance of a quotation constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

 5.⁠ ⁠Deposits and Payments

A deposit of approximately 40% of the total quotation value is normally required before commencement of works, unless alternative terms are agreed in writing.

The balance payment is due within 7 days of completion of the works, unless otherwise agreed between SERV Contracts Ltd and the client.

Payments shall be made via the agreed method stated on the invoice. SERV Contracts Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a reasonable rate from the date payment becomes due until full settlement is received.

 6.⁠ ⁠Title and Risk

Ownership of any goods supplied shall remain with SERV Contracts Ltd until full payment has been received.

Risk in the goods shall pass to the client upon delivery or installation, whichever occurs first.

The client agrees to store any unpaid goods in suitable conditions and not to resell, remove, or dispose of them until ownership has transferred.

 7.⁠ ⁠Warranty and Defects

SERV Contracts Ltd provides a 12-month warranty on both materials and labour from the date of completion.

This warranty covers defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials under normal use and service conditions.

The warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, wilful damage, accident, abnormal conditions, or any alteration or repair carried out by the client or a third party without written consent from SERV Contracts Ltd.

 8.⁠ ⁠Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing.

If materials have already been ordered or work has commenced, SERV Contracts Ltd reserves the right to retain all or part of any deposit paid and/or charge for costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.

 9.⁠ ⁠Delays and Force Majeure

SERV Contracts Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, adverse weather conditions, transport disruptions, site access restrictions, or other force majeure events.

10.⁠ ⁠Access and Site Conditions

The client shall ensure safe and reasonable access to the site and provide any necessary services or facilities to enable SERV Contracts Ltd to carry out the works efficiently.

The Company shall not be liable for any delay, cost, or loss resulting from restricted access, unsafe working conditions, or failure by the client to provide adequate site facilities.

11.⁠ ⁠Variations and Additional Works

Any variations or additional works requested by the client that fall outside the original quotation will be subject to a separate quotation or additional charges.

No variation shall be binding unless agreed in writing by SERV Contracts Ltd and the client.

12.⁠ ⁠Marketing and Photography

SERV Contracts Ltd reserves the right to take and use photographs or videos of completed works for marketing, training, and promotional purposes, unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing prior to publication.

No personal or confidential information will ever be disclosed.

13.⁠ ⁠Liability

SERV Contracts Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or expense, including loss of profit, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services.

Liability shall in all cases be limited to the total contract value, unless otherwise required by law.

14.⁠ ⁠Insurance

SERV Contracts Ltd maintains full public and employer’s liability insurance covering its operations, employees, and activities undertaken at client sites.

15.⁠ ⁠Data Protection and Privacy

SERV Contracts Ltd complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Any personal data collected will be processed lawfully, fairly, and securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Information will only be used for legitimate business purposes such as quotations, invoicing, and customer communication.

16.⁠ ⁠Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
