The Solution

SERV Contracts designed, fabricated and installed a bespoke double-leaf steel security gate, manually operated, finished in black. The gate was set into a levelled steel track at ground level and fitted tight against the existing brick pier, giving a secure, close-fitting barrier across the full width of the rear access without altering the surrounding structure.

Both leaves were fitted with a drop bolt and pull handle rather than a single central lock, allowing either leaf to be opened independently, which is a practical detail for a site handling deliveries as well as pedestrian access. Before handover, the installation team carried out a full finishing check on site, touching up the paint finish and confirming the gate operated smoothly on both leaves.
